Dr. Ulrike Franke

Dr Ulrike Franke is a Senior Policy Fellow at the European Council on Foreign Relations (ECFR) in London. She works on issues of German and European security and defence policy as well as the influence of new technologies on warfare and regularly appears as a commentator in German and international media. She is a member of the team that produces the podcast "Sicherheitshalber", the German-language podcast on security and defence policy. She is also a panellist on the French-language podcast "Collimateur - le casque et la plume". Ulrike Franke holds a PhD in International Relations from Oxford University and a double master's degree from Sciences Po Paris and the University of St. Gallen. She is a visiting lecturer at Sciences Po Paris.
